Akin Alabi is a Masters Holder in Business Administration (MBA) & a Bsc Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University Ogun State. He is also a graduate of Orange Academy- a Brand and Advertising school in Maryland Lagos.
He started his career with Capital Bancorp PLC as an Audit Trainee and later worked with Technology Company, SystemSpecs as part of the strategy team that developed Remita TSA currently used Federal Government of Nigeria.
Akin Alabi passion for Agriculture stated over 20 years ago when we created a dynamic way of how youth can begin to see Agriculture differently using the power of Digitalisation from creating an award winning Blog called the Corporate Farmers Blog which has now transformed into a multi-Million Naira company called Corporate Farmers International (www.corporatefarmers.tv) with his Co-Founder, Director, partners and stakeholders across Nigeria and Africa.
Akin Alabi is a Farm Manager Executive, Agric Technology enthusiast, and lead strategy with his professional experience, the company has been able to create Agric innovative platforms like Agri Social media week, Agric Campus Tour, concept on Agric Reality TV show, AgriSuperHero, Educational AgriTech e-learning platform, Animation project on Agriculture for kids and worked with top Honourable Commissioners of Agriculture and Ministers and professionals in the industry to develop plans for the future of Agriculture in Nigeria especially as it affect the youth.
Akin Alabi has conducted several Masterclass session on Agriculture with Netherlands Trade Embassy, Fairtrade Messe (German Trade International and conferences within several value chain also with MasterCard Foundation capacity Training for youth across Nigeria on Agribusiness and it's value chain.
Akin Alabi is the author of “Rise of Digital Agriculture” distributed across 5 different countries in the world and also presented to by the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria –Professor Yemi Osibanjo. Akin was the Program Director for the Nigerian Youth Connect to Work project with Cellulant and Mastercard Foundation.

Medium-sized businesses are critical to the development of any economy as they possess great potential for employment generation, improvement of local technology, output diversification, development of indigenous entrepreneurship and forward integration with large-scale industries.
In Nigeria, the medium-sized businesses sector has been under gross underperformance, undermining its contribution to economic growth and development. The issues affecting mid-sized enterprises are; an unfriendly business environment, poor funding, low managerial skills and lack of access to modern technology (FSS 2020 SME Sector Report, 2007). Among these, the shortage of finance occupies a very central position.
